Michael Pollan Panel!

Hey everyone in Davis, if you happen to have time from 4-5:30 this afternoon, or if you don’t you can make time, I’m going to be on a panel discussing Food, Farming, and Genetics with Michael Pollan. You know, the author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma, and whose name has been plastered all over Davis for the last two months. If you are not sure, then let me tell you, I’m going to be wearing something really wacky – you simply can’t pass this up! There will be no way to see it ever again!

Well, actually… yes there will. UCTV will be filming it, and I’ll fill everyone in on the broadcast when I know the details about when and where. So yeah, you can catch it again. But still… act as if you can’t. I’m putting the finishing touches on the visual metaphor that I’ll be wearing to the event, and then I’m off, loaded with a turkey sandwich in my belly, jars of honey (to fulfill past Mindcast guest bribes and to entice another one), hair freshly cut, highlighted, with green added, wearing a green suit, and a shirt whose pattern depicts nothing but c-

I have said too much. If I said any more I’d have to kill you. Unless you get your butt down to Jackson Hall at the Mondavi Center by 4:00 pm. Go!
